Yes, we ship internationally out of United States. We are currently offering international shipping to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, United Kingdom, South Korea. All international orders may be subject to additional customs and duty fees that are not originally listed during the checkout process. Customs and duty fees are the responsibility of the customer. In most cases the customer will receive a notice or bill when the package is arrived in the receiving country. Failure to pay these customs fees may also result in the package being returned back to Red Boat Fish Sauce.
Returns are not accepted for items purchased at our online store due to the items being consumable food products. However if your order arrived damaged or incorrect, please contact orders@redboatfishsauce.com within 30 days of arrival and we will promptly remedy the issue with either a refund or a re-shipment of the product(s).
Our 40°N Fish Sauce, 50°N Phamily Reserve Classic, Mắm Nêm and Umami Salt are manufactured in-house, meaning there are no other allergens or cross-contamination besides fish.
Our Vietnamese Lemongrass Curry, Spicy Lemongrass Curry, and Sweet & Savory Simmer Sauces are manufactured in a facility that uses Milk, Eggs, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soybean, and Sesame.
All Red Boat products are labeled with a best-by date on the label that is 36 months (three years) from the date of manufacture. After opening, we recommend using the contents within a year. For optimum freshness it is best to refrigerate the product after opening; however, if a bottle is kept at room temperature, the product will not be harmed in any way.
Red Boat Fish Sauce contains a high protein content which can undergo a natural process called “protein precipitation” when exposed to changes in temperature. These insoluble precipitated proteins may sometimes attract to form clouds of protein within the bottle. These clouds do not affect the safety or quality of the fish sauce; however, if you dissatisfied with this product, please send an email to info@redboatfishsauce.com and we will replace or refund your purchase.
Natural sea salt may occasionally crystallize on the bottom of the bottles of Red Boat sauces. This is a natural process and does not affect the product quality in any way.
Our fish sauces and umami salt do not contain any wheat or wheat by-products and are produced in a gluten-free facility.
Our Vietnamese Lemongrass Curry, Spicy Lemongrass Curry, and Sweet & Savory Simmer Sauce are produced in a facility that uses wheat.
Degrees N is an industry standard used to measure the amount of nitrogen, a significant factor in determining the quality of fish sauce. A higher “degrees N” indicates a higher level of protein; more protein means more umami flavor. Red Boat Fish Sauce has double to triple the amount of protein compared to its competitors.
We have discontinued our Kosher-certified Fish Sauce product line as it was too costly to maintain the certification. Our 40N Fish Sauce contains the same ingredients as our Kosher Fish Sauce, but it does not go through the Kosher certification process.
