This salty, savory lemonade is the perfect drink for a hot summer day.
Ingredients
- ½ cup of Meyer lemon juice
- Zest of 3 Meyer lemons
- ½ cup of sugar

2-3 tsp Red Boat Salt
- 1.5oz Meyer lemon simple syrup
- 1 cup club soda
- Ice
- Salt for rimming
- Lemon for garnishing

To assemble the soda
Directions
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, add the Meyer lemon zest, juice, sugar, and Red Boat Salt. Stir until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Bring to a light boil and reduce to a simmer for about 10 minutes until the Meyer lemon has infused with the syrup. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- To prepare the soda, wedge the rim of a glass with a lemon and dip the rim in a salt filled plate. Add the cooled Meyer lemon simple syrup to a glass with club soda and ice. Mix to combine and add a lemon wedge for garnishing.
