Ingredients

2 lbs pork short ribs

1 jar Red Boat Vietnamese Simmer Sauce

½ cup water
- Chopped green onion
- Chopped bird's eye chili peppers (for extra spice, optional)
- Toasted sesame seeds

White rice

Your choice of steamed vegetables or fresh cucumbers

Directions
Place the ribs in a large pot and fill it with enough cold water to cover the ribs completely.
- Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from the heat, drain the ribs, and rinse them under cold water.
In a clean large pot, combine the blanched short ribs, one jar of Red Boat Vietnamese Simmer Sauce, and ½ cup of water.
- Mix well and let the mixture simmer on medium-low heat for 45 minutes with the lid on.
While the ribs are braising, prepare white rice and your choice of steamed vegetables or slice fresh cucumbers.
Once the ribs are tender and fully cooked, remove from heat.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, chopped green onion, and chopped bird's eye chili peppers for some added heat (if using).
- Serve the braised ribs alongside the prepared rice and vegetables or cucumbers.
