Red Boat Fish Sauce’s head chef of R&D, Diep Tran, is excited to kickoff Red Boat’s First Annual Banh Mi Week on June 17th. This weeklong celebration will showcase some of the brand’s favorite chefs across the country and spotlight how they use Red Boat products in the kitchen.

“There is such a large community of chefs that we have much admiration for at Red Boat,” shares Diep. “We wanted to celebrate the talents of these chefs and share how a Vietnamese classic, like banh mi, can be interpreted in many different ways and hopefully inspire our Red Boat community.”

Red Boat’s Banh Mi Week will take place on June 17th and run through till June 23rd. This year’s lineup includes:

Mary Aregoni - Saigon Sisters - Chicago
Vien Duboi - Cong Tu Bot - Portland, Maine
Cecilia Leung – Lincoln – Pasadena, CA
Lien Lin - Bricolage – NYC
Jimmy Ly - Madame Vo – NYC
Christina Nguyen - Hai Hai – Minneapolis
Shawn Pham - Fiona - Los Angeles
Na Young Ma – Proof Bakery – Los Angeles

Each chef will come up with a special banh mi using Red Boat Fish Sauce and feature it on their menu for the week of June 17-23.  Red Boat will spotlight each chef in the weeks leading up to the celebration on our Instagram page as well as host a number of giveaways during Banh Mi Week. Fans will be encouraged to tag their favorite banh mi sandwiches that week with the hashtag #RedBoatBanhMiWeek for a chance to win a limited edition Red Boat’s Phamily Reserve Fish Sauce, their latest collection of signature salts, handmade Red Boat caramels and Red Boat apparel.

Banh Mi Week is the first in a new series of promotional events being curated by Red Boat Fish Sauce. Our goal is to expand on Red Boat’s growing community by showcasing the many applications of the Red Boat brand as well as celebrate how both chefs and at-home-cooks utilize all Red Boat products in the kitchen.
