A refined twist on a beloved classic, this Currywurst layers seared Italian sausage with sautéed bell peppers and onions, all enveloped in the aromatic depth of Red Boat Lemongrass Curry. Served on a toasted bun, it balances smoky, savory, and subtly spiced flavors in every bite. Elevated street food at its finest—simple in preparation yet complex in taste.

Ingredients
- 2 medium green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced

1 jar Red Boat Lemongrass Curry
- 1 jar water (using the empty curry jar to measure)
- 16oz Italian sausage
- ½ tsp salt
- Hot dog buns
- Neutral oil
Directions
In a pan over medium heat, add neutral oil and Italian sausage. Sear on each side until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same pan, add peppers, onions, and salt. Sauté until softened.
- Add the sausage back to the pan along with 1 jar of Red Boat Lemongrass Curry. Fill the empty jar with water, give it a gentle shake to get any remaining sauce out, and pour it into the pan.
- Bring the curry to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes. Remove the lid and continue simmering until the sauce reduces and thickens.
- Serve on a toasted hot dog bun and enjoy!
