It takes a village

Red boat continues to flourish with the help of what we lovingly call our fish sauce community: food personalities like Gail Simmons and Andrew Zimmern, as well as chefs including Edward Lee, Stuartt Brioza, Jenn Louis, and countless others. It's because of this community that fish sauce now has a place in the kitchen outside of traditional Asian recipes — making the leap into mainstream cuisine like soy sauce did twenty years ago.
